What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website asks your browser to store. They are used either to make a site work technically, to remember preferences between visits, or to track behaviour across sessions and sites. EU and UK law requires that we tell you which cookies we set and why.
What this site sets
The IMS website is intentionally minimal. It does not require account creation, does not run analytics, and does not load advertising or cross-site tracking technologies.
The only first-party storage the site uses today is whatever your browser caches by default to make page loads faster on return visits (HTTP cache, service-worker static assets where available). These are not personal-data cookies and they are controlled by your browser, not by us.
Third-party requests
The site requests two third-party resources that may, in turn, set their own cookies:
- Google Fonts — to load the Exo 2 and Inter typefaces. Per Google's documentation, the font CSS endpoint does not set cookies; the font files themselves are served from a separate host without cookies.
- OpenStreetMap — embedded as a small map preview on the Contact section. OpenStreetMap may set a session cookie to balance tile requests across its servers.
How to disable cookies
All modern browsers let you block or clear cookies, either site by site or globally. Look for "Privacy" or "Cookies" inside your browser's settings. Blocking cookies will not break this site, but it may affect third-party services like the embedded map.
Future changes
If we add analytics, customer support widgets, or any other service that sets cookies, this page will be updated and a consent prompt will appear before the cookies are stored. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent change.
